Haircut from Snip-its
A few days ago I took Arin to Snip-its for a haircut since they sent a Grand Opening coupon in the mail. I have to say, I'm not impressed and I don't think I'll be going back. They have little tvs and stuff that plays a TEN MINUTE video of stupid stuff that then automatically shuts off... and the waiting area has a little table with a few puzzles on it... and when you check out there is a price machine that gives little 1cent pieces of plastic junk, etc... and after ten minutes this really loud annoying buzzer goes off and keeps going off every minute afterward, I don't know if they all have this or my lady was just trying to be super "efficient". And she missed a bunch of long pieces of hair and the 'fade' she said she was doing... yeah not so much a fade, even after I made her go back and shorten it. Maybe I'm over reaching here ... is a military-type fade haircut THAT difficult to understand and accomplish?
I guess the stylists at Snip-its must have a lot of experience with kids, but the lady who cut Arin's hair wasn't especially friendly or experienced with toddlers it seemed, the only thing she did that I haven't seen before was be comfortable enough to grab his head and keep it pointed where she wanted it. Maybe for little girls they are good, but I think I'm just going to get a set of new 'shears' for Arin and do it all super short from now on. :)
Here's pics though! Isn't he handsome, even with the crappy uneven haircut?
